The plastic just feels frail including the heat dial. Being this expensive you might as well buy a Chi or better known brand. Regardless, it does what it needs to do and heats up at a reasonable time.

I was looking for a travel flat iron and knew that I'd have to compromise on speed/quality due to the small size. For this iron to work at all on my hair I have to do only a few strands at a time and wait between each pass for the iron to heat up again. If you are only interested in a iron that will straighten your bangs this will work. Otherwise keep looking.

My daughter had this one for 2 years and is still holding well to the counter, so I got the same one.I clean the bathrooms every week and have to pull this off and stick it back on and has not lost any of its grip.I do not know how it sticks to a mirror, but it is rock solid on a counter top. It is a little pricey, but is worth getting!! I would give as a gift to friends who use flat irons!

However I am on my 4th volumizing iron because the plastic casing cannot withstand the heat and the blades come apart over a time. I have tried different epoxies to try and salvage the iron, but once reheated the residue bleeds onto the hair. So I just keep buying new ones. I love the results which cannot be simulated with a flat or curling iron.
