I purchased this for my girlfriend who lives with me.
The bathroom on her side is always full of electric hair styling tools.
She has 2 curling irons, flat iron, blow dryer, small base mirror, and many other things that clog up the 2 sink vanity in the bathroom.
This tool, while currently just sitting in the area next to the vanity on the jacuzzi tub, is perfect.
She puts the flat iron, 2 curling irons, blow dryer, and either a mirror or brush on the holder.
The vanity is now clear of these items, the heat is not a problem, and it just looks and feels cleaner and neater in our bathroom.
The price for this item was also better than anyone else on the web, so we won there too!
The product is made for professional hair stylists daily use in their job.
This will probably last her forever, and can be mounted a variety of ways depending upon your layout.
I bought this product, and would buy it again!

When I went back to Ulta I told them I needed a straightening iron with Chi quality and Zoe price. They immediantly pointed to this one. I used it the first time and wow is all I can say! I love this flat iron and would highly reccomend it! Heats up great, has a locking mechanism so my hand won't change the temp and its cute! LOL. I have very coarse, thick blonde hair and this iron makes it soft and super managable! And at Ulta it is $59.99 and I used a 20% off coupon!!!

(More customer reviews)In an effort to stop blow drying my hair, I have been desperately searching for a method of wrapping my hair up at night so it will be work-decent in the morning. Unfortunately it is very short and rather curly so it ends up a mess by the end of the night. Had hoped these would suffice to keep it curled together and they are relatively soft so I could have slept on them. However my hair is too short and these are just too thick. I could envision them working quite well for somebody with slightly longer hair (mine falls just past my ears), but I could hardly get them into mine and then they would not stay put. Hmm. Perhaps in a few months I can try them again.

I looked at the sticker and saw it was not a factory sticker but it did read the color I choose. I then peeled the sticker off and there was the REAL factory sticker with the original shade, which was not the shade I ordered. I sent them 2 emails stating my concern and no reply. I sent the products back for a full refund and haven't heard anything since!! I would never order from this deceiving company again!!

Lava Flo 1 1/4" - 5/8" Ceramic Conical Styler Review

(More customer reviews)This curling iron gives a great bouncy curl and a very different look than a typical curling iron. That being said this product needs lots of improvement. If you curl with the 'hair guide' cover that comes to help keep the hair from sliding, it hardly works so it only works without it. My hair is silky and curls well and it does not work with that on top. Second, the temperature turner is the worst. THere is nothing that actually clicks the actual temperature into place. Meaning, if you want to use 350 because your hair is thinner, it doesn't lock it into that temperature on the product. THe wheel is so loose and when you use the iron, your fingers touch the wheel and even with a light touch it can move it to 450 and you wouldn't even know. This happened to me and that temp is way to hot for my hair so it's a really big pain. The spring clamp is not tight, it's lose so you can hardly put any hair in it and have to be careful it doesn't slip out, so if you don't have patience to deal with all this do not get it. Once you actually get to use it the curls are beautiful like I said. My normal curling iron takes me 10 mins to do my hair (I have very long hair). But this one can take up to 20, so I'll now use it for special occasions. If they fix the suggestions above, it can be a great product., it really helps give that bounce on the top which normal curlers don't give.

I purchased this item because it matches my titanium curling iron from hot tools that I also love. The colors are very appealing and the brand name is reliable. (More customer reviews)The concept is good but the finished product needs more work. Not enough nylon teeth and therefor the metal teeth touch your scalp and burn you. The amount of both the metal and nylon teeth have to be exactly doubled, then you will have the perfect curling brush. I've always loved curling brushes and have used them for many, many years and will never use a regular curling iron ...specifically for the same reason that this one is not quite complete. It burns the scalp!
So CONAIR, get back to work and finish designing this thing so I can get a new one.....I'm waiting!!!!

It's more for styling than drying, so it needn't be extremely hot, which would turn my hair to straw. Also I wouldn't want strong bursts of air blowing away the style. My mistake was to purchase it at a local store rather than at Amazon.com where it costs $10 less.
If you merely want a dryer, you might not like this, but if you want a styler, I recommend it. And it does dry as it styles. Towel dry first, of course.
This is the best thing I've used on my hair. What a joy to finally have hair with body and style! And without damaging my hair!
