(More customer reviews)I was searching for a two inch curling iron for a while. I have had so -so dealings with Gold N Hot in the past so I was a little nervous but I purchased this one anyway. So far, so good. It's surprisingly light (at least compared to my one inch ceramic tools curling iron). I usually let my hair air dry and use my curling irons to straighten my hair as I curl the ends (I'm black with a relaxer.) I have yet to do it with this one. Although I might try b/c it gets really hot. (I usually have it on around 20-25 out of 30)
The only problem is that the ceramic can chip off (It happened with the first one I bought, but I returned it and got a new one that hasn't chipped so far) and it's so big that if you take your thumb off the spring grip, it can be hard to get it back on (I have huge hands too.)

(More customer reviews)Out of all the curling devices I have used (which is a multitude), this curling wand has given me the best results in half the time compared to the rest. I have given it 5+ stars for its ridiculously quick heat-up (not to mention how hot it gets), for the fact that it can create a perfect spiral curl in less than 5 seconds, and for how light the wand itself is. Also, it is very easy to use and it comes with a glove to protect you from burns. The only fallback on this wand is that there is no telling of when the wand is ready to use, unlike on all other curling devices there is a light that goes on when it's ready. There is no light on the wand, however as I said, it heats up very quickly. Just make sure you are careful once you plug the wand in.

(More customer reviews)This hair curler works well; took us a few trys to figure out which direction to curl once you have the strands of hair under the clamp, but once we got that down, the curler made beautiful spirals. AND this was given to two different teenage girls -- eyes lit up both times!! Phew!! So, if you're not sure what to get that teenage girl who gives you no clue what she wants, give this a try. Only draw back is that the "stand" that the handle has is basically useless, so one needs to be careful how you lay it on the counter as the whole silver area gets pretty hot. Outside of that I give it Two thumbs up for quality (so far) and making a nice curl. Decent price.

It creates a lovely soft curl to my hair. but you need longer than shoulder length to get the curls right, I tried to use on my friend which has shoulder (or slightly shorter) length hair and I just made some wave to it! so I recommend a smaller cone if you have shorter hair.
