(More customer reviews)it hot enough to curl my hair. I just need to use it for 10-15 sec in each hair section. It creates a lovely soft curl to my hair. but you need longer than shoulder length to get the curls right, I tried to use on my friend which has shoulder (or slightly shorter) length hair and I just made some wave to it! so I recommend a smaller cone if you have shorter hair.
