(More customer reviews)I just received this hairdryer last week. My hair has been coming out frizzy lately so when my old hairdryer died I decided to spend a little more for a higher quality one. This hairdryer definitely helps with the frizz factor, however I am disappointed in the amount of time it takes to dry my hair. I'm not sure what that other reviewer is talking about. I think it actually takes longer than the last hairdryer I had. Also, there are two sets of buttons on the handles (they are more like toggles). There's not much room for your thumb on the handle and the buttons are frequently hit while I'm blowdrying. I don't hate it, but for what I paid, I don't love it either.

more of a bob cut so it just gives me more of a smooth look. But you could use it in any area where you need more of a straight look. I use it for touch
ups also during the day if my hair frizzes up a bit. It has a nice temperature control also. I do not use the really high heat on my hair and it still
does the job. Some people might need more of the heat turned up to get the result they need.

The paddles do not fit flush together so you have to use your second hand to pinch the paddles together so that your hair does not slide out. In doing so, you cannot hold on to the length of hair that you are trying to guide through the paddles. PLUS, this snags or better yet, does not glide through hair, which makes it impossible to have sleek, smooth hair. I have used it three times on (just blown) DRY hair. I did not try it on damp hair as it says can be done. I am going back to my "old faithful" iron. It is not ceramic, but it is easier to work with. I don't know if this particular iron is simply one that "slid through" inspection before hitting the market, but I cannot recommend it.

(More customer reviews)This roller set is perfect! With other hot roller sets, I've had difficulty keeping the bobby-pin style clips in (I have thick hair). I tried another set of rollers with a jaw-style clip, but the clips left impressions in my hair. The clips in this set are very easy to use and stay in place. I like the variety of roller sizes too. I read a review (on another site) mentioning that the set does not get hot enough. I had that impression too until I realized I had the switch on the "standby" setting. Plug the set in, turn the switch to the "in use" setting, and you'll have hot rollers in under 5 minutes. If you leave the set "in use" for longer than that, you will have piping hot rollers. Just switch the set over to "standby" to cool them off a bit.

(More customer reviews)I researched numerous flat irons before choosing this BaByliss product. I had previously owned a BaByliss, but an older model and at first I though I would change brands. The mixed reviews on this product were confusing, but when I received the product I was happily surprised that it exceeding my expectations. I have long, thick and somewhat corse hair and this product works tremendously in a very short period of time leaving my hair straigh and smooth the way I like it. It heats up quickly, does not pull (unless I take too much hair and try to go too quickly) and basically works GREAT. Even my salonist recommended the BaByliss products b/c that's what she uses.
So, if your hesitating....wonder no more this is a great product at an AMAZING price!

Besides the voltage issue, the overall quality of the tools is very poor. Save your money and buy something specific to the regions you travel. This set is junk.

(More customer reviews)This product arrived yesterday, and I got so many compliments on my hair today. I have fine hair, but lots of it. I also am growing out a body wave, and the other straightener I have (Zena) just didn't do as great a job as this one. It is true what they say, if you want a good straightener, you have to pay for it. I think this is as good as a CHI straightener, but I got a great price on it for buying it after X'mas - $99.00 for the set!
This thing heats up quickly, it is not too heavy and it did not snag my hair the whole time I used it (which has happened with every other straightener I have had.)
