My daughter had this one for 2 years and is still holding well to the counter, so I got the same one.I clean the bathrooms every week and have to pull this off and stick it back on and has not lost any of its grip.I do not know how it sticks to a mirror, but it is rock solid on a counter top. It is a little pricey, but is worth getting!! I would give as a gift to friends who use flat irons!
