(More customer reviews)Yes, it is hot enough, and I learned to adjust the heat so as not to fry my hair (because you can with this), but it is not creating the curl at the ends that I was hoping for. It may be that it is one size too big, but how would I know? Normally one curling iron works for both of my styles. Not this time, and I can't tell you why..... I do have coarse hair, and if you're having trouble with irons that do not get hot enough, this one will end that. If you're looking for a little definition curl at the end of medium length hair, though, this may not be it.
