(More customer reviews)I give this item one star because of lack of durability. It will get very hot very quickly. However, after about a year's use, the round black piece at the top of the brush breaks off and cannot be repaired. I have owned this brand of curling brush for more than six years and every year I must buy a new one because the tip breaks off. I currently have two of these and they are both broken. You are probably wondering why I keep buying it if I know the tip will break off. Well, when it works it is great and it gets as hot as I like. I have tried other brands in the past and haven't been satisfied with their heat level. I need to buy another curling iron brush, so, once again, I'll start searching for one with this much wattage. I hope to find another brand, because this is getting ridiculously expensive. Anyhow, be aware that you'll only be able to use this for about one year (the length of the warranty by the way). If that's okay with you, then go ahead and enjoy it while you can!
