(More customer reviews)I love this curling iron! It is way better than a Hot Tools curling iron. It is a very HOT curling iron, 400+ degrees. It has tourmaline and ceramic barrel and it really makes a nice healthy curl. Tourmaline is a lot better to use on your hair than just ceramic, the barrel is black instead of gold like most ceramic curling irons. I had a tourmaline curling iron a few years ago and really loved it, then it broke one day and I couldn't find another one until now! Give this curling iron a try and I think you will really love it like I do, plus I have been a hairstylist for over 30 years and I do know my curling irons with having to curl hair all day long, we stylist need an iron that is hot and fast and it has to give us a great curl(s) for our clients!

(More customer reviews)This straightener/curler seemed like a great deal. Straighten and curl with one tool..great!
First, it was impossible to lock the curler together. So I held it together by clamping the 2 plates shut with hy hand. The curler is HOT and I burned myself enough times to say forgetaboutit! Its not worth the trouble. I had to curl my hair over and over again because the curler wasn't hot enough. Hot enough to burn skin but not curl hair? weird!
Get a CHI instead. Its all you will ever need and curls hair too.

I bought this and get salon results at home. The best part is that my hair is not damaged at all, despite me using this every other day, sometimes daily.
heats up quickly, does a fabulous job straightening and leaving my hair shiny--can't live without this now!!!

(More customer reviews)I have owned Herstlyer products before so I knew this package was for me. I primarily wanted it for the Hair Straightener but the price was so low when I bought it ($54 with S&H) that it made more sense to buy all three instead of spending more on just one item.
My last straightener lasted over 3 years which is pretty good considering most other brands last under a year.
My hair has less frizz and breakage than with any other heating element I have used on my hair. It truly is amazing on what it can do. I must say that adding product to your hair before styling is a bad idea. My last iron was permanently discolored from doing so. Plus with the level of heat, you shouldn't need anything for sraightening.
I love the grande baby curl. While I did sustain some burns at first, the more I did it and get used the angles I needed to hold the curler at, I became very good at doing no harm to myself. The extra bonus it that my hair doesn't hold curls very long but with a LITTLE hairpsray, it stays. It curls well but after 2 hours, it has almost all fallen out. Because of that I would spray so much product on it that it would be crunchy but it's what I had to do. I do spray my hair after it is all curled but never before. It will stay in for a day this way. I did curl it without spraying and it stayed in for a good 4 hours but did fall eventually.

(More customer reviews)Caucasian, 71 YO female with thin (thyroid condition), fine (genetic) hair just below the ear lobes. Other hair dryers have too much power and send my hair flying every which way, but this one is oomphy enough on the high setting to dry my hair and gentle enough on low to style it. I'm sure it's not for those with thick/long/coarse hair, but it works great for me. I've waited a long time for this.

(More customer reviews)Saw this at a fair and it was $199.99. Came home, bought it here for about $30.00 This curling iron works great in just seconds and the curls last all day with no hairspray needed.
Just takes seconds to curl and they are tight and beautiful. My girls have really fine hair and I was quite suprised at how well the curls held as a normal curling iron does not work well for them.
Highly recommend this curling iron.
