(More customer reviews)I'm so surprised that this doesn't have many reviews, I think this is the best hair appliance I've ever bought. I had the instyler, and could not get the hang of the roller going the "wrong way" on one side of my head. This solves that problem with a (left,off, right) button the switches the direction the roller goes in. It is sooooo easy to use. My hair is naturally curly, and it has always been a problem to straighten my hair so it naturally straight looking in the past. It would be stick straight and stick flat against my head if I pulled the straightener through, or the wave would just be pressed flat, but still be "bumpy" if I clamped the iron over each section. This does not happen with this styler. It has bristles that seperate the hair prior to straghtening, so it is flat and stays gripped well while you pull it through your hair. The plate is also curves, so it doesn't make your hair pin straight, it has volume. My hair looks like its been professionally blown out every time I use it, and its quick. Also, half the price of the instyler. Its a win/win!
The only con is that it is LOUD (as much as the inslyler) Whenever he's home when I use it, my husband asks me what the noise is, it sounds nothing like a blowdryer, more like a power tool.

(More customer reviews)I love this flat iron! It makes my hair silky and perfectly straight, and I can curl with it, which is kind of amazing to me. And when I curl my hair with it it stays curly forever- which never happens with the regular curling irons I use, or even hot rollers. And I definitely would buy it here on Amazon vs. the kiosks in the mall where they charge you $200! Oh and it gets hot quickly which is great in the mornings when I'm pressed for time getting ready for work. And I love that it's pink. Overall, I love this product and highly recommend it!

(More customer reviews)I have long straight hair and normal cheap curling irons do not work on my hair (my hair doesnt hold the curls for more than 30 min) i saw this product on tv (the Real World) and loved how the hair looked on one of the girls. This Waver is awesome, i used it on my hair for new years last year and it held the entire night. it took me an hour to do my entire head but it worked great and i didnt have to hold it very long (about 30 seconds each hold, i know that may be long for some people i thought it was reasonable)

(More customer reviews)If it was dual voltage I would give 5 stars. I go to Europe sometimes during the year. So I've purchased this curling Iron as it said Dual Voltage. But unfortunately I realized that this curling iron is NOT Dual voltage. So be aware. I wrote to seller NewvoBeauty company which I've purchased from. It does not seem it is company's fault. Who ever listed it, wrote incorrectly.There is also typo about the items model on Amazon. If you look at the model no, it is written BABC125S, but there is no model called BABC125S. It should be BABP125S. There is a mistake about the model number and also its most important feature for me (being Dual Voltage). So I appreciate that Newvobeauty sent me a new curling Iron which is CT155S model and Dual voltage. Actually I was expecting the new curling Iron as CT125S as I need 1.25 inch, but the second Iron they sent was 1.5 inch. But I did not care that much about its inch as long as it is Dual Voltage. The company also wrote me back saying that I can keep the both Irons I have and they will refund my money.
If you are interested in this item be aware it is NOT Dual Voltage. Newvobeauty was very helpful about the issue.

Remington S9950 Shine Therapy Moisturizing and Conditioning Digital Ceramic Hair Straightener, 1" Review

(More customer reviews)After a long line of past FAILS... PLEASE PLEASE learn from our mistakes- all but one straightener (the first) was more expensive than this one!

Straightener #1 - Metal plates, smell of burnt hair throughout the house
Straightener #2 - Had ceramic plates, but you have to sort of contort your hand to keep from hitting the heat settings and on off controls
Straightener #3 - Ceramic plates- heated to salon level - Controls not on outside, you can reach in and hit the on/off, but actual heat settings very difficult to see. Results- hair looks ..STIFF-Straight after using this. Had to wash hair and straighten the night before so it relaxes a bit.
Straightener #4 - 2" ceramic - Wet /Dry with vents - hair of course sizzles when using it wet. It was just heavy and it takes some hand strength to close it. Had a distinct smell of burning hair. If the steam from the wet hair option doesn't burn you, using it on dry hair it is unbearably hot for way too long.
Straightener # 5 - Plates did not meet evenly, touched only at the end pulled hair out- cracked when you tried to make the plates touch. Went out on the next trash day.
Sraightener #6 - Checked out best straighteners on the web - purchased a CHI for 150.00 - we have grown weary and low on cash - because of the anti theft device the store applies you can't read details - we opened it in the car parking lot - discovered plates don't meet AT ALL ....certainly not going to break it trying to press them together, also ........NO HEAT SETTINGS at all?? How strange.
Because of the way it was packaged, we carefully put back in box, walked back into the store shortly after, got our money back on this one.

CHI Mini Ceramic 1¼" Hair Styling Travel Iron Review

However it doesn't get hot enough straighten my hair, despite having fine and easy to style hair. I ended up returning it.
