(More customer reviews)I read that ceramic is the better kind so I bought this one. It was horrible. Where the plate is connected to the handle, kept on snagging my hair. It pulled out a lot of hair. Also, since they are "floating" plates it doesn't press down on the hair. So it didn't straighten my hair at all. And I just have a slight wave to my hair, so there is no reason for it to not work. It would just fall off of the hair unless I grabbed a huge chunk of hair (which was too much hair in it so it wouldn't straighten it still).
