(More customer reviews)I am Asian, and have thin, fine hair. When I bought this 6 months back, there were only a handful of options for a 1.25 ionic, tourmaline curling iron. I primarily was looking for this technology because its supposed to make your hair shinier and a healthier alternative to the traditional irons. I decided to go with Metropolis over Magic Ping because of the 10 year warranty. You just can't beat that. Aside from the curling iron feeling a bit lighter than expected (light enough where it feels a bit cheap), I can't really complain. It performs beautifully. I get great looking curls, without the feeling that I'm burning my hair and to my surprise the curls last all day with barely any product needed. Even when I wake up the next morning my curls still have some life in them.
