I purchased this product and was told the following: "If the product cracks or malfunctions, return with the receipt for an even exchange." WELL!! I turned my flat iron on and it cracked in two different places. This happened to my friends as well. I went to get my "even exchange" and was told there was a "new policy" and it would now cost me $30 to exchange. I didn't buy mine under the "new" policy! Another person told me it would cost $10 under this new exchange policy because they will need to ship it back to the manufacturer. I will never purchase another one of these flat irons! The so called "lifetime warranty/return policy is not consistent and an $80 flat iron should NOT crack after 3 months!
