(More customer reviews)I use this iron quite frequently to do large spiral curls in my long hair. The size is also good for doing standard curls and/or straightening short hair. The hair slides off smoothly and they distribute heat evenly, leaving a pretty silky curl every time.
I've owned a collection of ~15 Kizure irons for 10+ years that are all still going strong. No rusting, breaking, chipping...still in excellent condition, much like the day I bought them. I haven't done anything to maintain them, they just seem to get better with regular use. I've heard with other thermal/marcel irons, hair sticks to them over time. I've experienced this with my Gold'n hot plug in irons, but NEVER with my Kizure marcels.
Note for non-professionals: These irons do take some getting used to. I use them for my personal hair care. It didn't take me long to get good at it (maybe 2 hair styles?). But be sure you practice with your stove set to LOW HEAT, otherwise, you may scorch your hair or skin as these irons will get VERY hot.
