(More customer reviews)I was skeptical if these ionic hair dryers were worth the premium price, but a bad case of frizzy hair led me to try one.
The T3 Travel dryer has a swivel handle that rotates under to make it compact for travel. Why, you ask, would you bother to travel with a dryer when most hotels now supply one in the bathroom? The answer is because this dryer is so good, you won't want to use any other.
My hair did indeed dry about 30 to 40 percent faster, and it's very smooth and shiny when it's dry. The principle of the dryer is to bombard the hair with ions that essentially "explode" the water off your hair. (Coating water droplets with ions that vaporize and dispel the water.) Whatever the theory, it seems to work.
My dryer came in a nice canvas bag with room for a brush and other cosmetics with a hanger hook. Also came with an ionic brush. Not sure if this model also comes with travel bag, but I was pleased with it. Just make sure you pack it away in your suitcase each day when you travel so you won't leave it behind.

(More customer reviews)I used this hairdryer in a hotel in Los Angeles. Loved it so much I took down the model number and immediately went to track one down for myself. Of course, found it on Amazon...........what don't they have? Great price, but best of all this hairdryer weighs next to nothing. It only has one slider to control it, low, med, high heat, with low heat producing lower air flow, high heat producing highest air flow power, etc. Most hair dryers have separate air force and heat buttons. I actually like this better because I mostly use high heat, full blast, but to each his own. It does not come with those big diffuser attachments, but does have a great directional attachment to better concentrate the airflow in one spot. Average cold shot button. If you are looking for an inexpensive, no frills, light weight hair dryer, this is a great little one.

Hot Tools Professional Turbo Dryer Model 1069 Review

(More customer reviews)I bought this for my wife who gets up very early for work while everyone else is still sleeping. We were seeking a solution for the annoying and piercing "screaming" of her hair dryer at 4:30AM, and this turned up in a search for "super quiet" hair dryers. Well, this unit does offer some nice improvements in both speed and temperature selections as well as a momentary "cool" button. But although it is perhaps a little lower in the tone or frequency of its sound, the total noise produced by it is only nominally different from the much cheaper unit it replaced. We don't sense that it puts out more air or heat than the much less expensive one we had, but it came with some interesting styling attachments to make it appear more like a pro unit. It also features a detachable lint filter at the intake which may be worth something down the road as that clogs. Our 12 year old son did think it was "cool" though -- whatever that may be worth.

(More customer reviews)This hair dryer is the third in a series of attempts to find the right hair dryer for my wife, who has long thick hair. The first one was a Vidal Sassoon that had ionic technology, but didn't get near hot enough. She was drying her hair for > 20 minutes.
The second attempt was the Revlon RV469 ceramic, which was much quieter and got hotter, but didn't have much air flow. Also, it is quite heavy. It was better than the first dryer, but not hair drying nirvana.
This dryer (Revlon RV544) has easily cut my wife's drying time in half. She has very thick & long hair, and the high heat setting makes quick work of it. It gets hot enough that I actually tone it down to warm for myself (I have short, thick hair) whenever I have to use the dryer. I think the air flow settings are perfect. The dryer is also nice and light, and fits in a bathroom drawer easily, unlike some of the bulkier models out there.
My wife thinks this is the best dryer she has ever had. We highly recommend it.
