One business day later, she received an email from info@t3micro.com that this item was purchased from an unauthorized reseller as specified in their terms and warrantees. Small print implies they cannot guarantee the product is authentic. Choice is to return or use with no warranty. Since it's pretty hard to explain hair strands- guess we'll keep it, but for sure be careful who we buy our next ROLEX from.
