(More customer reviews)I really wanted to like this and was excited to get it. I hoped to use it to smooth my hair and provide volume at the root. It turned out to be very cumbersome and didn't seem to get very hot. Even though I have straight hair, I found it difficult to get hair taut and even around the barrel. It had very little effect on my hair at all. I even tried hairspray, which I don't normally use. If your hair is easy to curl, it may work for you.
