(More customer reviews)I actually put it on the wall, it does not come with the screws though. I can turn the iron on right on the holder, use it, and then turn it off and put it back. It tolerates the high temperatures without melting and it does not mess up the wall either. This is a fantastic product, they might consider making a iron/blow drier holder.
