(More customer reviews)I bought the purple hair art rollers and they came quickly, however they were poor quality and looked like they had been used before - and were recycled. I have had my own 10 year old perm rollers and these rollers I got from this company were in worse shape than mine. I had bought two packages. On all the rollers, the rubber was dark grey, dry and already cracking and the rubber was extremely thin and frail; on some of the rollers the rubber was frayed and split; one roller I tried to open the clip and the rubber part broke in half before I could even get the end clip out. These looked like recycled rollers because of the condition of the rubber clips. On the outside of some of the rollers, they were slightly brown dirty and on the inside of the rollers, the plastic was extremley brown and dirty. The quality of the holes in the rollers was not constructed very well - the plastic holes were small and most were obstructed by the part of the plastic had not been cleared during the manufacturing process.
To the company's credit ([...]), they did refund my order, I paid 4.95 each for two packages of purple rollers but said they couldn't refund shipping (5.29)--Grrr. They said they never had anyone complain about their rollers, but I did notice that they just dropped the price of the purple rollers to less than $3-hmmmm. Perhaps this was a minor incident with a small batch of rollers on their part, but I would recommend that you buy rollers from a place where you can inspect the quality of the rollers. I didn't know this before but you can get rollers from sally's beauty supply store ([...]). Fortunately there is a store near me, I ended up getting my perm rods at my local store where I could see for myself that the rubber was in great shape. Plus I got my perm rods at sally's for only a few dollars, less than $2 for a pack of 12. Oh well, live an learn - not all things are equal on the internet!
