Lava Tech 4 in 1 Rotating Ceramic Styler #Lt1124 Review

(More customer reviews)This product is described as "rotating"; what they should say is that there are four different irons in one. They do not rotate, except to "rotate" into position. Iron was way too hot, and I have nice thick healthy hair. They also charged way too much for S&H, and I had to pay S&H for the return, too. I still have not received my refund; hopefully they will process it soon.

(More customer reviews)I bought the iTech Ceramic Tourmaline Flat Iron from Seattle beauty supply Ed Wyse. I had used the product two or three times when in a sizzle of smoke it just stopped working- while getting ready for a wedding no less. Appliances have never shorted out in my home the years we've lived here so assumed the product was defective. Because I had the flat iron just over 30 days Ed Wyse would not take it back but instead referred me to iTech support in California. The customer service person responded disinterestedly and told me to mail it back to them with a check for $15 dollars to mail me a new product. I told the rep that after sinking nearly $200 into the product I wasn't willing to spend an extra $30 and time on another flat-iron and could they waive the shipping at least one way. The customer service person was impatient, told me it wasn't his fault and my only option was to mail them the product and the check. He couldn't wait for me to get off the phone. I called Ed Wyse corporate office to see if they could help me out in getting behind their products for a long time customer. Sorry was the reply. I threw the barely used flat iron into the trash and am going to buy the ghd from Sephora to replace it, or the T3 from Norsdtrom, the King of Customer Service. In an economy where businesses are looking for customers I will not give iTech or Ed Wyse any more of my money.

(More customer reviews)I was really unsure about this product since I never heard of it and am so familiar with CHI. my CHI broke and I really didn't have the money to buy a brand new one.
I saw this and looked up reviews on the item. All the negative reviews were about the people who sell them at kiosks at the mall. I never found a negative review on the actual product so I decided to buy it. Also my friend who's a cosmetology student recommended getting a titanium plate. I had a $25 gift card and spent $6.00 on this item so I figured why not?
Now that I've been using it, I would definitley spend over a hundred dollars on this product. I LOVE IT!
The first time I used it I was so amazed. I straightened my hair in only 20 minutes and it honestly looked like I came out of the salon.
I let some friends use it also and they love it! It heats up super fast and stay really hot. (So beware because I accidentally clamped it on my finger and now I have one nasty burn!)
I only have two negative comments. The description makes it seem like you can choose the heat temp but you can't. Also, it doesn't let you know when it's ready for use (My CHI used to flash red when it heated up to the right temp.)
Besides those two things, I RECOMMEND!

I'm not sure why that other reviewer thought that this iron was a Chi product, but I'm happy that it's not. I had never heard of HSI before ordering, but I will defiantly buy any other hair tools that they make. The iron heats up quickly and has floating plates. My hair was very shiny after use, and I didn't need to use any sprays or sheens. With this flat iron, I can curl my hair, flip my hair, and of course straighten my hair. After use, my hair was bouncy and it looked almost as good as when I go to the hair salon. I could go on for hours about how much I love this new flat iron, but don't take my word for it, buy one for yourself before they raise the price. I forgot to mention that there is a teeny tiny bottle of hair serum that comes in the box with the flat iron. It works very well, but it is just a sample size, so don't expect it to last for more than 2 uses.

Bed Head Deep Waver Review

(More customer reviews)I have combination hair, meaning it's really wavy in the back (basically looks like it just came out of a braid) and less so in the front. I bought this to try and get my hair evenly wavy all around. This product does not disappoint. The waves are more subtle rather than crimped- think 20s finger curls rather than tight, defined "s" curls- but it was exactly what I was looking for. Heats quickly, the barrels are solid and it doesn't feel cheap even though it's a less expensive waver. I say go for it.

One word of advice for non-ethnic and ethnic girls alike - use a heat protectant on completely dry hair prior to using this iron. It gets hot - really hot - and could easily burn your hair and destroy your cuticle...Also, make sure you divide your hair into large sections to ensure that "Veronica Lake" deep wave. YouTube has some great videos of people demo-ing this waver and I strongly suggest you watch them prior to purchasing it. All in all, a great product at a great price.
