I bought this flat iron about 2 weeks ago hoping for some good results. Unforunately I'm not very happy with it. I do like the fact that it's dual edge. One side is flat and you can get pretty close to your scalp, the other is rounded so you can add some curl. The curled side you have to be careful with because you can burn yourself pretty easily if you get too close.
I have long, wavy, medium thickness hair. The ceramic flat iron my sister has (unfortunately I don't remember the make or model) worked exellent on my hair on a medium setting. I was hoping for the same results here, especially considering this one was a bit more expensive than my sister's. The first time I used it I put it on medium to high setting. I was left with a lot of slightly wavy parts. I decided to try again. The next time I put it at it's highest setting, which I believe was 430 degrees. Still left with some wavy parts. The next time I decided to go much slower on the highest setting. Finally I got better results, but it took a lot longer than what I was used to. It still didn't give my hair that sleek look the other flat iron I used did though. Unfortunately the trouble doesn't end there. The other flat iron kept my hair straight for 2-3 days with a minor touch up in the morning. I flattened it yesterday afternoon and this morning I tried to touch it up and it looked ok, but not even an hour later my hair got pretty frizzy.
Depending on your hair type, this product might be good for you, but I just wouldn't reccomend it.
